Reggae music has always fascinated me, for the haunting rhythms, the cool continuous groove, the radical lyrics of social consciousness and the beautiful people: the late prophet Bob Marley, Israel Vibrations, Burning Spear, Steel Pulse, and so many others. I was compelled to write, together with Ben Antwi, our own reggae songs presented in this album.  Called In Babylon because, in Rasta ideology, Babylon is the capitalistically infested Western World which includes the country of Israel where this album was recorded. In Babylon the pressure is on.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Gadi Ben Elisha who died in 2021.
Gadi played electric guitar with lots of feelings and amazing technique. 

He was a kind warm soul. I miss him so much.
